Getting a coronavirus test

Anybody who suspects they are displaying corona virus symptoms can now request a test through the following link:

Tests will be carried out at regional test centres or mobile units and home test kits can be requested when these are available (currently in high demand and often availability is low).

Tests are only available for people who have symptoms and are not available to children under 5 years old. Some test sites cannot do tests for children aged 5 to 11. If a test site in your area cannot test children under 12 years old, you’ll get a warning when you’re booking the test.

Essential workers with symptoms and those in their household displaying symptoms will be prioritised and can book a test at regional test centers, mobile units and for home testing through the following link:

Those in England and Wales who do not have any access to the internet, or who have difficulty with the digital portals, will be able to ring a new 119 service to book their test. The line is free from landlines and mobiles and is open 7am-11pm
